Multi-day wedding in Palm Springs: Sam & James at Desert White House

Some weddings are so much more than a single day.
They are an entire weekend full of emotions, lightness and shared memories.

Sam and James' multi-day wedding in Palm Springs, California was just like that. With a beautiful villa in the desert, a relaxing honeymoon session and a brunch by the pool, this wedding weekend was something very special.

California desert wedding

Palm Springs is a place that instantly slows down. The landscape is vast, quiet and impressive. Palm trees, mountains and the warm light of the desert create a backdrop that is perfect for destination weddings. Everything here has style.

The celebration took place at Desert White House, a modern villa in Indio:

80125 Ave 49, Indio, CA 92201

The house combines clear architecture with the natural beauty of the surrounding area. It feels private, quiet and full of opportunities for special moments at the same time.

Sam & James: Sporty, friendly and full of humor

Sam and James are both very sporty and active. You could immediately feel how much energy and joy they radiate.

A particularly funny moment was spent playing mini golf together. James did his best, but the ball didn't always go the way he did. His attempts made for lots of laughs. Sam then showed him with a wink how to do it right and who is really the sportier one in the relationship.

Such small scenes are often the best because they are real and simply happen.

Honeymoon session and brunch by the pool

After the wedding day, the weekend continued in a relaxed manner. At brunch by the pool, everyone enjoyed the sun, snacks and cool refreshments in the water.

They laughed, swam and simply celebrated in the moment. This time after the wedding is often particularly valuable because everything becomes easier and feels completely natural. The pressure has dropped and you can finally open up. And what better place to do that than California!?

My approach as a wedding videographer: Authentic rather than staged

As a wedding videographer, it is important to me that no one has to pretend to be in front of the camera.

I work in such a way that real moments can be created, without pressure and without staged scenes. My goal is to capture the best and most authentic sides of a bridal couple while you truly experience your day.

You should be able to laugh, party and enjoy without the feeling that a camera is in focus.

Because the best memories aren't planned. They happen.

Nevertheless, I always have 2-3 scenes up my sleeve that we can “set” to make the film even more meaningful. I'm always ready when needed.
