Palm Springs
Full day
Some weddings don't just stick in your head.
They become a feeling that you immediately feel again as soon as you think of a place.
Angelica and Chase got married in Palm Springs, in the back garden of one of the most famous villas in the region: the Frederick Loewe Estate.
And honestly: When I think of California, I always think of that exact wedding.
Just a block away, Elvis Presley had spent his honeymoon with Priscilla.
The Frederick Loewe Estate: A villa straight out of a movie
The wedding took place in the garden of the legendary estate:
The Frederick Loewe Estate
815 W Panorama Road, Palm Springs, CA 92262
Every single room there would have been worth a separate movie.
I would have preferred to move in right away.
The architecture, the details, the atmosphere. Everything looks like a perfectly curated set, except it's real.
And then that light.
The incidence of light was really perfect everywhere. Whether it's an interior, a garden or a pool area. You always had the feeling that the sun knew exactly what it was doing. It was really hard to turn off the camera here even for a short time.

Californian sunset straight out of a dream
Not to mention the sunset that California served us that evening.
I can say with a clear conscience: The colors were as magnificent and beautiful here as rarely anywhere else.
Warm, soft and almost surreal. I wanted to soak it all in.
Some of my all-time favorite recordings were taken here. Moments that make you realize as soon as you film that they will last forever.
Angelica & Chase: humor, closeness and genuine joy
And then the newlyweds.
Angelica was truly an angel. A very funny one at that!
I've rarely laughed so often on a shoot. The atmosphere was light, warm and full of genuine joy.
Angelica and Chase were constantly motivating each other. They had fun, they were present, and they also enjoyed the quiet moments spent together.
And that's exactly what you feel on the recordings.
This mix of humor and genuine connection is something you can't stage. It just happens when two people actually see each other.
I'm not crying, you are!

My approach as a wedding videographer: Real instead of posed
As a wedding videographer, it is extremely important to me that couples don't feel they have to work for the camera.
I work unobtrusively and observatively. This creates natural scenes, genuine laughter and moments that don't seem posed.
You should be able to enjoy your day. No pressure and no performance.
Because the best memories don't come from perfect poses, but from real emotions.
